Canvas LMS

As a public educator, one of the Learning Management Systems I have used is Canvas. Canvas allows for the organization of learning modules in a variety of ways. There are also powerful analytic tools that allow for reflective practice, coaching, and conferencing based on need and performance. Data can be collected by class, activity, or individual learner. Canvas has the capability to track the page views and time stamps of learners allowing for more powerful feedback. Course modules can also be designed as self-paced and performance locked providing an individual learner the opportunity by-pass information based on a pre-assessment, or remain in a unit as needed.
