Description: This book study was created for The Professional Journey.  The purpose of the book study is to increase engagement and support between cohorts. The first book chosen was "What I Wish I Knew Before Becoming an Instructional Designer" by Dr. Luke Hobson. After reading the book, I organized the chapters into sections that made thematic sense for discussion. The book progresses well linearly for individual readers and also lends itself to out-of-order chunking for discussion groups.  When the progression was approved, I created a note-taking and discussion guide that could be pushed out as a fillable PDF, or printed for handwriting. Discussion topics build on the end-of-chapter questions Dr. Hobson provides in the book and allows for easy re-framing from higher education to a corporate perspective as needed.
